Holiness to the Lord
Holiness to the Lord
A shot from my sister's wedding. For members of the LDS church, a temple marriage is the pinnacle achievement of life. The temple is a holy place where couples can be married under the authority of God in a marriage that lasts beyond death and into the eternities to come. My sister was married in the temple yesterday, and it was a truly awesome experience. Every temple bears the words 'Holiness to the Lord, the House of the Lord' on the outside, and those words express the intense spiritual significance of this place to us. I was really happy to see my sister and see her get married in the temple! Of course, the wedding itself is only the beginning, and it will take a lot of work and dedication to make this a successful and lasting temple marriage, but I really do think that these two are going to do it, and do it well. Good luck and God keep you both!
