Booooooooooooooo yeah!
I figured that I have only 45 days left to finish this novel. 45 days. But the cool part is that I think I can do it! I sketched out a very rough outline (which leaves out a lot in the last chapter, except where I want everyone to be by the end), and I’ve got maybe three or four chapters left! Yay!
However, it’s still going to take a lot of work. These past few months, I’ve been doing maybe a chapter every other week. I usually throw in a couple of different viewpoints, plus the rising falling action and the climax. I’m going to have to hurry that up if I’m going to have this whole thing ready. We’ll see.
I’m getting to the part where the aliens start to figure in. One problem, though, is that I might be making things a little too obvious. It’s not that I want to keep the reader guessing, I want to keep the tension high and preserve the shock effect, so when the really big stuff starts coming out, everone is surprised.
And…I’m really tired. So I’m going to go to bed. But the cool thing is that I made my daily goal to be at a certain place in the story before I go to bed! It took me nearly 2,600 words to get there, but I did it!
